Brothers on Bikes Help Power Dave Day 2025 – A Moving Tribute to a Beloved Biker

Dave Day 2025 proved once again that the spirit of camaraderie, community, and two-wheeled adventure is alive and well. Held on the weekend of June 21st and 22nd, the second annual celebration saw over 30,000 bikers and supporters come together to honour the life of Dave Myers – the much-loved chef, TV personality, author, and lifelong motorcycle enthusiast.

Proudly supported by Brothers on Bikes – the Association of Masonic Motorcyclists, the event was a heartfelt tribute to a man whose passion for biking and generosity of spirit touched people across the country.

The weekend began with a powerful departure from the legendary Ace Café in London, led by fellow Hairy Biker Si King, Dave’s wife Lili Myers, and close friend Jason ‘Woody’ Woodcock. As the convoy thundered along the A40, crowds gathered on bridges and roadsides, cheering on the riders during their 300-mile journey north to Dave’s hometown of Barrow-in-Furness.

Unlike last year’s solemn memorial, this year’s Dave Day was a celebration – filled with music, laughter, and shared memories. The presence of Lili Myers added a deeply emotional note to the occasion, as she launched her new book chronicling her journey with Dave and the life she has navigated since his passing.

In true biker fashion, a little rain couldn’t dampen the spirits. Barrow’s streets came alive with thousands welcoming the riders into town. The festivities featured stunt shows, classic motorcycle exhibits, live music from original Thin Lizzy members and Hells Bells (an AC/DC tribute band), celebrity football, and vibrant food fairs that brought the community together.

The weekend ended with a sold-out Gala Dinner, where the celebration carried on into the early hours – including an impromptu bongo session from Si King that kept everyone on their feet.

For Brothers on Bikes, it was an honour to play a role in such a meaningful event. Dave Day 2025 reminded us all of the unique power of motorcycles to forge connections, build community, and carry on the legacy of those we’ve lost.

Ride safe. Ride proud. Ride together.
